​Let's make sure we are on the same page when we talk about venture seeding.

It isn't necessary to be across the shifting proliferation of venture capital funding round names and definitions.  At BitBolter, alignment begins with simple and clear language.  Seed stage means the venture is at concept stage.  You have an idea, but have not yet finalised or built a minimum viable product.  Perfect, that is our space.

This seed or concept stage is the most fascinating and creative stage of the venture life cycle. And the most unique.  Genesis is, by definition, a once only event. We believe seed stage is where significant contributions can be made that help to turbocharge the trajectory of the venture.  Strategic vision enables product/market fit. 

Operating in stealth mode initially gives a new venture a head start, and the space to test hypotheses, validate, iterate, and build a minimum viable product.  But that is just a beginning.  It is critical that any lead is not squandered, but rather is extended, and built upon continuously.  The capacity to effectively maintain such strategic advantage drives corporate value.
